Joker Action Figures

Created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, with contributions by artist Jerry Robinson, the Joker is the nemesis of Batman who first appeared in Batman #1 in 1940. Initially portrayed as a violent sociopath who murders and commits crimes for fun, the Joker later began to be written as a goofy trickster. That characterization continued through the late 50s & 60s before the character went back to his original vicious killer persona. He has been responsible for numerous tragedies in Batman's life, including the paralysis of Barbara Gordon aka "Batgirl" and the murders of Jason Todd aka "Robin" and Jim Gordon's second wife Sarah Essen. In 2006, the Joker was rated the greatest villian of all time by Wizard magazine.
